our story
Core Collective is the vision of owner Merida Stover, a master Pilates instructor who has run her own Pilates studio since 2008. Driven by her desire to treat the whole person in a compassionate and supportive environment, she conceived the idea of forming our collection of services and practitioners for nurturing the body, mind and spirit. The goal was to bring in practices that are not bound by the traditional medical care model and practitioners who truly focus on the client's needs, spending time with them and getting to know what’s happening in their lives.
Beyond that, Merida and the team are driven to have the Collective be a significant part of the community and to partner with other communities to enhance the overall health and well-being of Helena area residents.
our team
We have assembled a team of health and wellness professionals who are highly educated (some with advanced degrees), very well-trained and certified in their practice. They bring a wealth of experience working in various sectors (e.g., hospitals, medical centers, schools, and corporations), different locations around the world and with leading specialists in their field. Continuing education is a priority of our team to ensure we are up-to-date on the latest practices and trends. Because of the variety of skills each practitioner offers within their discipline, we can offer several different types of classes and diverse treatments.
Core Collective and its services are located on three floors in a historic Helena building on Last Chance Gulch. It’s a unique space with a warm and calming atmosphere and a heart-of-downtown Helena vibe that instills a sense of community. Enduring friendships and relationships are formed among our diverse client community.
