Intro to Reformer Workshop

Two-hour intro workshop for new clients to try the reformer and learn the basics. At the end of this class, you'll feel ready to join in regularly scheduled beginner classes. Class size limited to 6.

Beginning reformer

Semi-private class. An introduction (or re-introduction) to the beginning systems of Pilates. Terminology, body position, and equipment information are all practiced during this class, as well as fundamental foundational exercises.  Ideal for students who may have never taken a Pilates class previously, returning to Pilates, or simply wanting to get back to basics.  No experience required. 55 min class

reformer flow

Semi-private class. This is a faster paced class and more athletic than the beginning (Return to reformer) level.  The majority of this class is performed using the reformer, though other props are often integrated into the reformer work. 55 min class

Classical Reformer

40 minute, Semi-private class with Emilie. Emilie is studying in a 1:1 apprenticeship with Allison Breen of Portland, Or to learn original work from Joe Pilates and his devoted student Ramona. In the Classical Pilates classes, you'll dip your toes into this fun, challenging, and fabulous method that can be accessible at any age. 

advanced reformer

Advanced class that requires instructor permission. Students should be familiar with reformer flow classes prior to taking this class.  Much of class focuses on standing positions on the reformer.

Barre Pilates

Barre Pilates is a class that blends various elements from ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements., 

Pilates Barrel

Welcome to classical Pilates on the small barrel! This class takes mat work to a small apparatus for stretch and strength a different way. To be comfortable in this class, you should be able to do intermediate level mat work consistently. Class limited to 4 people.
